Crossing the Bering Straight in the coldest months of 2015.

Forget walking/driving back take a plane.

sunny 1 °C

In the cold months of 2015 I will depart from Alaskan shore line and arrive in Comchatka, Russia. I have done enough research to know this is a very difficult trip, but I have some insights that prior travelers did not. Only have been planing this for couple weeks and have come up with some solid answers, one being that a Russian citizen may walk into country with an internal international passport witch you won't get unless you have an internal Russian passport. So far there are no set date or even proposed once except for the year this year it will take some travelers to NYC to gather up some documentation a from the Russian Consulate. All input and feedback are always welcome and are appreciated.
